O.T. Allen
Owner/Operator
Mr. Allen is the son of Cody Allen, grandson of Dickie Allen, and great grandson of O.T. Allen who worked in the Alto funeral business as early as 1918. O.T. represents the fourth generation of Allen family members to continue working in the funeral business. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Texas, having graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He received his license in 2011 and hopes to be able to serve families in the area for years to come.

Mr. Allen has worked for the family business for 40 years. He took over as owner/operator after his father, Dickie Allen passed away in 1995. Then passed the business to his son O.T. In 2018. He graduated from The Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston in 1985 with a dual license in funeral directing and embalming. Mr. Allen grew up in Alto and Cushing and has a personal connection with all the families we serve at Allen Funeral Service.

Mynde Stilwell
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Mynde Stilwell is originally from Wyoming, has spent most of her life in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She obtained her AAS Degree in Mortuary Science at Arapahoe Community College, Littleton, Colorado in 2005. She spent 8 years in Tyler, Texas, working as the Owner/Operator of Stilwell-Taylor Mortuary Service. She has worked in the Funeral Service Industry for 20 years and is licensed as a Funeral Director/ Embalmer and Certified Crematory Operator in South Dakota, Wyoming, Texas and previously in Montana. Mynde moved back to Texas in 2023 and started working for Allen Funeral Service as a Director/ Embalmer and licensed Pre-Need Insurance Agent. She resides in Cushing, Texas with her son Blu Sage
