Memorial services for Wanda Kay Stewart will 4 PM Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing, Texas. Wanda Kay Stewart, 63, of Cushing passed away June 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. Wanda was born to Jack and Mary Gilbert Phillips September 24, 1957 in Conroe, Texas. She lived there most of her life before coming to Cushing where she lived for 20 years. She loved her coffee and enjoyed cooking. She was a cook at 7th Street Restaurant for fifteen years. She loved her family, and was especially attentive to her grandkids and her two dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Betty and Bobby. She leaves to cherish her memory son Thomas and wife Emily Simmons of Mount Enterprise, daughters Linda and husband Roy Acreman of Cushing, Tammy and husband Puncho Tutt of Cushing, and Jaclyn Phillips and her fiance Cary Guess also of Cushing; brothers John and wife Martha Phillips of Humble, and Ricky Phillips of Humble; and sisters, Barbara Chris, Jennifer Bishop of New Caney, Lee Bishop of Kirbyville, Mary Phillips Spears of Cleveland, and Jeanette and husband David Garza of San Antonio. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren Dallas Mannisto, Jacob Humphries, Timothy Humphries, William Wood, Joseph Humphries, Daniel Phillips, Anna Phillips, Wyatt James Simmons, Gage Carter Simmons, Dawson Acreman, Alex Acreman, and Jacklyon Tutt; and great grandchildren Madison Mannisto, Anthony Mannisto, Gracie Kay Mannisto, and Chloe Mannisto. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be William Wood, Jacob Humphries, Joseph Humphries, Timothy Humphries, and Daniel Phillips.
