Funeral services for Vivian Williams, 89, of Cushing will be Monday February 21 at 11 am at Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Self and Jan Rhodes officiating. The graveside service will follow at McKnight Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday February 20 from 5-7 pm. Vivian was born May 10, 1932 to Murph and Claudia Caver. She grew up in the Linn Flat Community. She graduated from Cushing High School and lived her entire life in the Cushing area.
She married Loren D (Johnny) Williams on June 25, 1952. They spent 57 years together until his death in 2009. She loved her God and her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her greatest love was taking care of her family.
Vivian was a member of McKnight Congregational Methodist Church for 68 years. She was the oldest active member until health stopped her from attending in August 2021. She was one of the co-founders of McKnight VBS. She also served through the years as Sunday school teacher and Sunday school secretary.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Charles Williams, sisters Vera Self, Evalyn Jo Neill, and brother Bobby K Caver.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Lori and Gary Rawlinson, grand children Kyle and Julie Rawlinson of Cushing. Great granddaughter, Mackenzie Tucker of Fort Collins, CO. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Janet Caver and Sarah B Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express appreciation to Robin Stewart, Twin Oaks Nursing Home and Rehab, and Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care for her in her final days.
