Virginia Anne Dutton Hamilton

Virginia Anne Dutton Hamilton left this life on earth and joined her husband in heaven, whom she dearly missed, on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Nacogdoches. Virginia was born on July 14, 1951 to Oliver Edward Dutton and Gladys Louise Carroll Dutton in Houston, Texas. She met her soul mate, Jerry Lynn Hamilton Sr. at the age of 13. They were united in marriage on March 6, 1968 where they resided in Houston until 1984. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Jerry Jr. and Kelly. They followed Jerry's dream and moved to Hambone Hill in Cushing, Texas and remained there until their death. They were married for over 50 years. She was known as a great mom, granny, and best friend. She loved her children, grandchildren and family fearlessly. Virginia lived the country life on her ranch with her cows, dogs, and the outdoors. She loved to play scrabble, listen to music, dance, and watching the Houston Astros. Virginia also enjoyed playing with her iPad and drinking her favorite beverage. Virginia was an amazing cook and she loved to entertain in her younger years. She worked as a office manager for Dr. Vyas's office in Nacogdoches before she retired in 2015. Virginia was an organ donor and blessed several recipients with life. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers Donald Dutton, John Dutton, and Bubba Dutton. She is survived by her son Jerry Lynn Hamilton Jr. of Cushing, daughter Kelly and husband Rawhide Randall of Cushing, sisters Mildred Cargill, Barbara Henley, and Gladys Turner. Virginia also leaves behind grandchildren Skylar Conner and husband Tyler, Brianna Hamilton, MaKayla Hamilton and Devan Randall, and great grandchildren Bethany Conner, Micah Conner; and numerous relatives, friends, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Lee Knight, William Wallace, Matthew Wallace, Collin Wallace, Blake Wallace, and Justin Byrn.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry "Bubba" Hamilton Jr. and Devan Blake Randall

Funeral services for Virginia Anne Dutton Hamilton, 70, of Cushing will be 12:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Dickie Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Self offitiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
