Funeral services for Virginia Gail Wade, 65, of Alto and formerly of Timpson will be held Friday at 11 Am in the First Smyrna United MBC Church in Timpson with Pastor Dwight Gatlin officiating. Mrs. Wade passed away Sunday, August 16th, in Tyler. She was born July 19, 1955 in the Bobo community in Shelby County, Texas to Louis Hill and Mary Evelyn Crockett Hill. She grew up in Timpson and had lived the last 20 years in the Alto and Rusk area. She was a longtime church music minister and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Alto and loved cooking and sewing. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gerald Hill and sister Karen Hayes. She is survived by husband Johnny Lee Earl of Tyler, daughter Tranika Holland of Timpson, brother Gary Hill (Amber) of Houston, God Daughter Effie Rhodes, niece Khrysteeon Hayes, nephew Exavean Hayes and best friend Ola Mae Thacker. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Alto.
