A funeral service for Uvone Bryant, 65, formerly of Alto, Texas will be Saturday, May 30, at 2PM at the Weeping Mary Baptist Church near Alto with Rev. Lionel Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Thomas Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Uvone Bryant was born December 7, 1960, to the parentage of the late Herman Bryant and the late Mary Francis Blackshire Jones. Uvone was granted her wing on May 21, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Uvone was born in Alto, Texas. She grew up in Jacksonville, Texas and graduated from Jacksonville High School.

She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Lee Bryant, mother, Mary Francis Blackshire Jones, son, Lonnie Lofton, Jr., daughter, Vatie Mariel Lofton, brother, Herman Bryant, Jr., and former Husband Lonnie Henderson.

She is survived by: Husband: Robert James Lofton; Sons: Hoza (Evette) Bryant, Corry Bryant and Kalvin Bryant; Sisters: Kasie Stephens, Meaghan Stephens; Brothers: Adam (Maritza) Stephens, Ryan (Charniece) Stephens, Kris (Tori) Stephens, Irving (Casandra) Bryant; Special Friand: Travis Horn; A host of Grandchildren, Great Grand Children, Aunties, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other Family and Friends.
