Tommie C (Walker) Saulters

Tommie Saulters, 82 of Sacul, Texas, passed away on December 2, 2024, at her daughter's house in Baytown, Texas.

Tommie is under the care of Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing, TX.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing, Texas, with Bro. Paul Smith of Jacksonville, Officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 Am at the funeral home, burial will follow at Atoy Cemetery in Rusk, Texas. 

Tommie was born in Atoy, Texas to Charrie and Myrtie Walker, on September 2, 1942. 

She attended Atoy school and graduated from Rusk High School. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Saulters, as well as her six siblings whom her family know are now rejoicing together.

Tommie was a talented seamstress and worked many years at Mr. Fine’s sewing factory and Elaine’s Bridal Shop in Jacksonville, Texas.  She also worked at Jacksonville Walmart for over ten years.  She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Corine.

Tommie is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Hassell of Baytown, TX; Granddaughter, Brittany Willis and husband Joey of Laneville, TX; Grandson, Caleb Hassell and wife Crystal of Sacul, TX; and Great Grandchildren, Kaden Willis, Mackenzie Willis, Kraig Willis, Gavin Hassell and Hagen Hassell.
