Richard Earl Duke

Richard Earl Duke was 81, when he went to be with his Lord on the 17th day of our Lord, November 2024. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Laneville, Texas. He had just recently celebrated his Birthday with his loving family.

Richard was born on the 12th day of our Lord, October 1943. He was born to Marshall Lee Duke Sr. & Oscar Lee “Rosie” Powell Duke, in Houston, Texas.

Richard is preceded in death by; his parents, siblings, his son Ricky Allen Duke, his granddaughter Ashly Charlene Thompson Snyder, and grandson Dustin Martin Kennedy.

Our Duke leaves behind; his loving wife of 27 years, Molly Fain Yates Duke; His children, Annette Duke, Barbara Thomley and husband Jeff, Matt Moser, Spencer Duke and wife Sheri, Katryna Curl, Jeff Gladden and wife Yvette, Mendy Powell and husband Dewayne, Jana Kirby and husband Kevin; his grandchildren, Nick Thompson, Olivia Kennedy, Kris Henson, Cecil Biddle, Brittany Kuntz, Annie Hollister, Steven Robertson, Sidney Robertson, Seth Gladden, Kate Gladden, Jordy Gaddis, Mikey Gaddis, Meghan Nizovteev, Sierra Duncan, Taylor Kelso, Cody Kirby, Katie Freeman; 14 great grandchildren, and at last, count 2 on the way.

A Memorial Service for Richard will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM, at Trinity Baptist Church, (211 CR 140) Nacogdoches,Texas, with Pastor David Coleman Officiating. 

There will be a luncheon at the church, following the service.
