Pernia Mae Hogg

Funeral services for Pernia Mae Hogg, 80, of Alto will be Saturday February 15th, 2020 at 1 PM, at New Hope Church in Alto. No visitation is scheduled. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Hogg died Saturday February 8th, 2020 in Rusk, Texas. She was born January 26th, 1940 in Alto, Texas to Ike and Ada Jones Tyler. She lived most of her life in Alto and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Pernia worked for about 20 years as a cook at the Kountry Kettle Cafe in Alto. She is survived by son Bryant Keith Taylor of San Antonio, daughter Donna Tyler of Alto, sisters Wilma Jean Wells, Ginnie Tyler, Jewel Myles and Louise Taylor as well as grandchildren LaQuendal Pope and Marcus Pope.
