Patsy Ruth (McBroom) Welborn

Graveside funeral services for Patsy Ruth Welborn, 83, of Jacksonville will be Monday, February 7th, at 2 PM at the Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto with Rev. Jerry Carroll officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Mrs. Welborn passed away Monday, January 31, in Jacksonville. She was born in Alto, Texas October 25, 1938 to Lewis McBroom and Edna Wisner McBroom. Patsy live in Tyler for several years and had lived in Jacksonville for the last 21 years. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville and had works as an LVN as well as a nursing home administrator. Patsy loved to fish and travel and loved her cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by husband Ray Goff, brother Kenneth McBroom, son Curtis Goff, daughter Janis Jackson and granddaughter Pamela Cooper. She is survived by husband Phillip Welborn of Jacksonville, daughter Jo Ann Cooper of Lindale, brother Marvin McBroom of Rusk, sisters Lois Lee of Parker, Arizona and Kathrene Burns of Hawkins, grandchildren Natalie Taylor, Jessica Jackson and William Jackson, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
