Patsy DeBoe Obituary

Patsy Ann Todd DeBoe, age 83, formerly residing in Houston, Tx. passed away peacefully July 3, 2024. Patsy was born in Alto, Texas to Bonnie and David Harrison "Jack" Todd on July 28, 1940. Patsy grew up in the small town of Alto where she went on to meet and marry Hubert Lange. By her husband’s side, Patsy helped build a successful Scientific Glassblowing business and eventually introduced their only child David into the business who has continued their legacy. Along with being a loving mother, Patsy became very involved in their local church teaching Sunday School, leading Bible Studies for the youth and helping with Summer Camps. David and his wife Cindi blessed “Nanny” with her next greatest joy in life, her granddaughter, Samantha Lange Phillips. Whether it was attending Sammy’s volleyball games, whisking her away to the beach, or taking her on a Girls Road Trip, it was clear to everyone Sammy had stolen her heart. mIn her later years, Patsy met and fell in love with Mark DeBoe. They enjoyed traveling, eating out, and just being together. She began working at Sam’s Club where she made many friends and was respected as a hard worker who was well liked by her co-workers. She often escaped to Magnolia to visit with her family and just sit on the porch and enjoy nature. Patsy truly loved birds and looked forward to each morning when her and Mark would carry their coffee to the patio just to sit and watch her winged friends. Patsy was preceded in death by both her parents: Harrison "Jack" and Bonnie Todd; brother Charles Todd and nephews Bryan Todd and Larry Todd. She is survived by her brother Jackie Todd and his wife, Margie, her loving partner Mark DeBoe, her son David Lange and his wife, Cindi; her Granddaughter Samantha Phillips and her husband, Justin; her Great-Grandson Cooper Phillips and numerous nieces and friends.

Funeral services are Thursday, July 11, at 1 PM in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Chapel in Alto. There will be a visitation time from 12 Noon until service time at 1. Burial will follow the service in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Alto.
