A viewing and visitation for Mary C. Stripling, 73, of Alto will be Friday, October 1 at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home in Alto. No formal service is scheduled. Mrs. Stripling passed away early Friday, September 24, in Tyler. She was born in Center, Texas, December 25, 1947 to Richard Isbell and Frances Evilane Wood Isbell. Mary lived in Alto for 9 years and had lived in the Nacogdoches area for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was a full gospel Christian. Mary was preceded in death by her mother Evilane Isbell. She is survived by husband Jack Stripling of Alto, sons Jimmy Glisson of Nacogdoches, Alvin Glisson of Amarillo, Kenneth Stripling and wife Tara of Douglass and Jeff Stripling and wife Carolyn of Douglass daughter and son-in-law Angela and David Hold of Boyd, sisters Rita Veroneau and Cindy Woodard as well as 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
