Mary Ann (Taylor) McDaniel

Funeral services for Mary Ann Taylor McDaniel, will be Wednesday, March 26, at 12 Noon, at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Chapel in Alto, Texas. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 AM also Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Mrs. McDaniel will be buried at the Weches Cemetery between Alto and Crockett. Mary Ann passed away Thursday, March 20,  in Tyler. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, February 16, 1948 to Jim Elwood Taylor and Dorothy Pounders Taylor. Mrs. McDaniel lived in Lufkin for many years and had lived in Jacksonville since 2007. Mary Ann was Baptist and had been a homemaker. She loved to travel and was a wonderful Mother and Mee Maw. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Joe Taylor and a grandson Aidan McDaniel. Mary Ann is survived by husband Ronald C. McDaniel Sr of Jacksonville, daughter Tammy Willis and husband Brian of Lufkin, sons Carrell Cook of Richmond, Ron McDaniel Jr. and girlfriend Barbara of Plano and Mark McDaniel and wife Christina of Lufkin, brothers Jimmy Taylor and Larry Taylor, grandchildren Jeremy McCall, Kresta McCall, Cody McKnight, Raechel Rodriguez,  Patricia Rodriguez, Greg Cook, Kristen Cook, Randi McDaniel, Brayden McDaniel, Victoria Friday, Matthew McGaughey, Kinsley Parker, Kaydee Parker, Ashley Garcia and Chris Garcia. and great grandchildren Jayden, Shusha, Abby, Triton, Greenly & Reed.. Pallbearers are Jeremy McCall, John McCall, Brayden McDaniel, Greg Cook, Jacob Keifer and Patricia Rodriguez. Cody McKnight will be an honorary pallbearer.
