Mary (French) Allen

Funeral services for Mary French Allen, 90, of Needville and formerly of Alto will be Saturday, February 19th, at 2 PM at the O.T. Allen & Son Chapel in Alto with Rev. Tom Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto. There will be a visitation time Saturday from 1 PM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Allen passed away February 9, 2022 in Needville, Texas. She was born June 9, 1931 in Alto to John Bunyan French and Willie Mae Watters French. She grew up in Alto and later moved to Houston where she lived most of her life. Mary was Baptist and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by husband Charles Allen, daughter Carolyn, son Kenny as well as 4 brothers and a sister. Mary is survived by son Jimmy Allen of Alto, daughter Vicki Lawson of Needville, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, including her newest great grand Charli.
