Keith was born in Austin, Texas on June 18th, 1962, moved to Nacogdoches September 1967. He graduated from Central Heights High School in 1980. He attended TSTI in Waco. He was introduced to the landscaping/lawn/deck design business in Nacogdoches, then he moved to Houston for a few years. After a severe motorcycle/automobile accident in September 1985, losing his left leg, he recovered at his parents home, then moved to Arlington, Texas for approximately 20 years. As long as his health allowed, he worked in the apartment complex refurbishing business as a tile layer and refinishing specialist. He decided to return to Nacogdoches in December of 2014, buying a home in the Appleby Community.

Keith was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March 2016, which metastasized to his bones. Keith loved all things God created for us to enjoy, plants, birds, animals, good food, and family and friends.
