Jonathan Boyd Davis

Jonathan was born August 31, 1972, in Jacksonville, Texas to Charles Dean Davis and Mary Ann Boyd, He was a lifetime resident of Alto, where he graduated high school. He worked for Kalman Floor Company for 30 years and owned his own concrete company, JB Davis Concrete. He was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist church where he loved to learn about the Lord. His passion in life was his girls, his puppy dog Jax, team roping and rodeo. He spent every day he could out in the arena roping and teaching his girls the love of the sport and how to be the best at each of their events. He was always proud of their accomplishments and loved cheering them on.  

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Boyd, grandparents Ross and Birdie Boyd and Lloyd and Dorothy Davis. He is survived by his wife Katrina Davis of Alto; daughters Reagan Bryce Davis of Weatherford and Taylor Ann Davis of Alto; Father Charles Dean Davis and wife Sheryl of Alto; brothers Mark Davis and wife Stephanie of Alto and Tim Hollis and wife Christie of Alto; nieces and nephews Ashley Powell and husband Blake, Cole Hollis, Camden Hollis and wife Caylee, Corin Newton and husband David, Brook Kirkpatrick and Ross Davis; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.  

Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 11:00am at First Baptist Church in Rusk, TX. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Spencer Smith, Brian Grogan, Tyler McKnight, Robbie McKnight, Keith Williamson, Tony Ray Johnson, Ben Johnson, Heath Crawford, Shelby Pierce, Joey Harris, Matthew Barnes, and Brad Hamilton.
