John Douglas Hogue Jr.

   No services are scheduled for John D. Hogue Jr., 82, of Alto, Mr. Hogue Passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Alto, Texas. He was born July 29, 1942 in Crockett, Texas to John Douglas Hogue Sr. and Audrey Willard Penick Hogue. Mr. Hogue had lived in Alto for about 18 years and had also lived in Tennessee Colony. John had retired from the Department of Corrections where he had worked as a maintenance supervisor. John was a U.S. Navy veteran and had worked at a copper refinery in El Paso after serving in the navy. John enjoyed hunting and fishing and had also raised horses. He was preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his wife Linda Hogue of Alto, daughters Meredith Watson and husband Steve, Raegan Motassem and husband Sam and Sandy Hagstrom and husband Richard as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
