Joe L. Skinner

A funeral service for Joe L. Skinner, 80, of Alto will be Saturday May 3rd, 2025 at 11am at the Historical Weeping Mary Baptist Church in Alto. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Chapel Cemetery. An informal visitation and viewing will be Wednesday April 23, 2025 from 9am-5pm at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Skinner was born September 29th, 1944 to Pleze Simpson and Cashie Skinner. He was a lifetime resident of the Alto Community. He was a member of the Historical Weeping Mary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board and the Men's Chorus. He was also a member of the Alto Area Christian Brotherhood. Mr. Skinner was a loving brother and uncle to his family, and well known in the community.
