Jameson Wayne Walker

Jameson Wayne Walker, 2 years old, of Cushing, TX, passed away on June 30, 2023, at Ochsner LSU Health, in Shreveport, LA. 

Jameson is under the care of Dickie Allen Funeral home in Cushing, TX.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 10th, 2023 at 10am at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home chapel. Vistation will be one hour prior to services also at the funeral home. The interment will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Lilbert.

Jameson was born in Henderson, Texas to John Walker and Stormy Yates on April 9, 2021.  He loved playing with his little brother Dakota, his dinosaurs, horses, and his caterpillar shoes. He also loved his friends and teachers at Right Steps Day Care. Jameson was full of life with the biggest blue eyes and lit up a room with his bright smile.  Heaven is a brighter place with Jameson there.

Jameson is preceded in death by great grandparents Bobby James Moorman and Carol Ann Green Moorman.

Jameson is survived by his parents John Walker, Stormy Yates, brother Dakota Ray Walker, brother Larry Barrett, brother Jonathan Ozmun, sister Elizabeth Bowley, grandparents Jason Reynolds and Casey Moorman Yates Reynolds, Kevin Ray Yates, Angela Walker, John Dewayne Johnson, great-grandparents Ronnie Joe and Debra Smith, Kenneth Deamer, Doris Neil Marston, great-great-grandparent Milton Ray Miller, aunt Cheyann Yates, uncle River Yates, aunt Deanna Walker, aunt Celeste Walker, Uncle Jason Johnson, numerous cousins and other family members.

The pallbearers will be Jason Reynolds, River Yates, Kevin Yates and John Walker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Joe Smith, Brandon Smith, Richard Brannon Gray, Jason Johnson, Larry Barrett, Dustin Hanway, Jason Adams, Joshua Moorman, Brandon Moorman,
