Funeral services for James Jessie Cline, 88, of Nacogdoches, will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Nacogdoches. James Cline passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 in Nacogdoches. He was born September 26, 1932 to William and Irene Cline in Sacul, Texas. He was known as a hardworking Christian man. He devoted his life to serving his country first achieving the rank of Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserves, and continuing his career in the Civil Service in the Quality Control Department at Carswell Air Force Base. He was also known as man that could do anything. Without any formal medical training, he built an oxygen tent for his daughter. Similarly, he build an entire house for his family. His family experienced his intelligence and "can do" spirit first-hand. Often in the garage tearing apart and rebuilding an engine or anything his hands and curiosity wanted to master. Though "stubborn" at times, his love for family enabled him to be the husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, and friend that will makes him "irreplaceable." He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Lajuana Jean Cline. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Cline of Nacogdoches; sons, Dennis and wife Carmen of Arlington, Texas and Rick Wayne Cline of Nacogdoches; daughters Kathleen Cline Andrews and husband John of Grand Prairie, Texas and Teresa Cline Saldana and husband Tony of Arlington, Texas; he leaves behind eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers include John Isaac Fee, Michael Cline, James William Cline, Jason Coyle, Daniel Gralapp, and Steven Daniel.
