Graveside funeral services for James “Bo” Barron, 76, of Pearland and formerly of Alto will be Tuesday, March 30, at 1 PM at the Arnold Cemetery near Alto. Mr. Barron Passed away Friday, March 26, in Houston. He was born February 28, 1945 in Rusk, Texas to Travis Barron and Ruth Byers Barron. Bo lived in LaPorte, Texas for several years and later moved to Pearland. He had worked as a machinist for DuPont for many years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and loved to scuba dive having also been a scuba instructor. Bo was an avid reader and especially loved military history. He loved caring for his two Maine Coon cats, Micha and Layla. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers Ralph Cumby, Roy Cumby, Bruce Cumby and Robert Barron. He is survived by his wife Diana Daily Barron of Pearland and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Larry Daily, Michael Daily, Byron Daily, Lindell Roark, Ronnie Rogers, Billy Bradley and Stacy Cumby. There will be a visitation at the funeral home from 11 Am until 12:45 before heading to the cemetery.
