Harold Lee Obituary

Harold Ray Lee, 73, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Monday, September, 8, 2025, at his residence in Nacogdoches.  Harold is under the care of Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing, Texas.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Landmark Baptist Church in Cushing, Texas, with Brother David Snelson Officiating.   

Harold was born on March 8, 1952 to W.B. and Frances Lee, in Big Spring Texas.  He married the love of his life, Vickie Lea Bassinger, on April 4, 1976 in Durant, Oklahoma. 

He worked in many aspects of exploration and production in the oil industry, across West Texas, the Texas Panhandle, as well as overseas to several Mid East Countries.   

Harold was deeply engaged in the Crane, Texas community, where he and his family spent many years. Each summer, he dedicated his time to coaching Little League baseball, served as a leader for the WEBELO Scouts, and was a Crane Band Booster.  

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Frances Lee; brothers, Johnny Lee, William Lee, Tim Lee; sister, Mary Frances Lee.

Harold is survived by his wife of 49 years, Vickie Lea (Bassinger)Lee; sons, Shane Lee (Jessica), Zachary Lee (Ashley), Nicholas Lee, Ronnie Mullins (Kimberly); 7 grandchildren, Tori Lee, Andromeda Lee, Daegon Lee, Sage Mullins, Hannah Mullins, Zachary Mullins, Nathan Mullins; Cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
