Funeral services for Gloria Lee Traylor will be 3:00 pm Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing. Gloria Lee Traylor 72, of Reklaw, passed away in Jacksonville February 14, 2021. She was born in Henderson, Texas to Walter and Ora Lee Hays March 5, 1948. A resident of Reklaw most of her life, she was known for her selfless spirit as she cared for many in the community. From private sitting to taking in those without a home; she welcomed all. Throughout her life she assumed many roles. Among those included being a cook, small business owner operating a resale shop, a game room, and a restaurant at various times; private sitting, and caring for loved ones to ensure they did not require private facilities for long term care. She was preceded in death by her biological parents Ora Lee and Walter Hays, her adoptive parents Hannah and Calvin Bland, her husband Jessie Traylor, and sons Jimmie and Jeffrey Traylor. She is survived by her children Ben Beathard of Rusk, Kathy and Ross Tarver also of Rusk, Sherry and Nathan Whitt of Alto, and Mandy Traylor and Nelson Pryor of Nacogdoches; also, Johnny and Debbie Traylor, Jerrie Traylor, and Jason and Rose Traylor all of Reklaw; brothers Harvey and Randy; sisters, Dorothy, Wanda, Margaret and Karen; Thirty-three grandchildren: Sam, J.D., Wade, Annie, Peyton,Heather, Mitchell, Heath, Brittany, Brent, Matthew, Justin, Austin, Tatum, Tristan, Callie, Jessie, Angel, Crystal, Holly, Brandi, Candi, Ricky, Aaron, Jeremy, Tiffany, Nikki, Maddie, Brooklyn, Melonye, Joel, Crystina, and Dylan; and thirty-seven great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was loved by all who came into contact with her. She will truly be missed.
Visitation service will be from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the funeral service.
