Geraldine (Suggs) Jones

  Funeral services for Geraldine Jones of Alto will be Friday, June 7th, at 11 AM in the Grace Fellowship Church in Rusk, with Rev.  Keith Hassell officiating. Burial will be in the Alto City Cemetery following the service. The family will receive visitors from 10-11 AM at the church before the service on Friday. Geraldine passed away Wednesday, June 5 in Rusk. She was born March 17, 1935 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Garvin Ozell Suggs Sr. and Verda Alma Wingfield Suggs. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jewel Ray Jones, children Debra Jean Ranniger and Sandra Kay Tyer, brothers Garvin Ozell Suggs Jr. and Billy Wesley Suggs and sisters Emma Lee Stevens and Beverly Nietermyer. Geraldine is survived by son Michael Ray Jones of Alto, brother Olen Wayne Suggs of Cleveland, grandchildren Chris Ranniger, Brandon Tyer, Ryan Ranniger, Jeremy Ranniger, Jennifer Alpha, Josh Tyer, Cody Hudnall, April Long, Michael Jones and Melissa Jones.
