Frances Kay (Davis) Milstead

Funeral services for Frances Kay Milstead, 88, of Alvin and formerly of Alto will be Monday, November 22, at 1 PM in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hogg officiating. Mrs. Milstead passed away Thursday, November 18, in Alvin. She was born August 16, 1933 in Gallatin, Texas to Frank Lee Davis and Sally Bell Jenkins Davis. Kay lived in Alvin for 12 years and had lived most of her life in Alto. She was a member of the A. Frank Smith United Methodist Church in Alto and had sung in the choir. She had worked at the Rusk Memorial Hospital for 20 years and had retired from Cherokee County Health Department. Kay had been a caregiver for many family members and loved flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Milstead and 2 sisters. Kay is survived by son Max Milstead and wife Joyce of Alvin, grandchildren Krystal Maroon (Derek) and Kevin Milstead (Britini) and 3 great grandsons. Pallbearers are Kevin Milstead, Derek Maroon, Wyatt Hanley, David Fulton, Kenny Fulton and Trent Fulton. Memorials may be made to Real Life Ministries 901 Clifford St. Alvin, Texas 77511.
