Ervin Wayne Helm

Ervin Wayne Helm, 59, of Alto, passed away on February 5, 2026 in Alto, TX.

A memorial celebrating his life will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 at Campground Baptist Church at 11am in Alto, TX.

Wayne was born in Houston, TX to Hester and Ethel Helm on May 14, 1966. He went to school in Alto and went on to pursuit careers in the sales, construction, and produce industries.  Wayne is preceded in death by his mother and father, Hester (Buddy) and Ethel (Elaine) Helm, his half brother, Bobby Dean and half sister, Sharon. Wayne is survived by his daughter Kaylan and her husband Jeff. His daughter Hannah, sisters Jeanie, Kayla, half siblings Audrey, Joe, Denise and Lisa. Grandsons, Jameson and Jordan. Many nieces and nephews and so many others who loved him dearly. The family would like to extend gratitude to his good friend, Debbie Grimes who supported Wayne and was there with him until the end.
