Brother McCollough dedicated over 30 years as a delivery driver and supervisor with Mrs. Baird’s Bakery before retiring. He was a dear friend to many and a living testament to his faith as a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. Those who had the pleasure of speaking with Bro Ed could easily see his deep love for His Savior, whether through his heartfelt prayers, his attentive listening to gospel messages and songs, or the expectation he carried for the Lord’s imminent return.
His profound love for his Heritage Baptist Church family shone brightly throughout his forty-three years as a faithful and active member. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith and the genuine joy he brought to all who knew him.
While he will be deeply missed by friends and family alike, we take comfort in the knowledge that his faith has turned to sight. Brother Ed is now home, resting in the loving arms of his Savior, Lord, and Friend, reveling in the glories of heaven he so eagerly anticipated.
