Edgar Earl Brent

Graveside funeral services with military honors, for Edgar Earl Brent, 84 of Maydelle, will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 10 AM, at the Alto City Cemetery with Nicholas Waggoner officiating. Mr. Brent passed away Sunday, July 21, in Rusk. He was born in Weches, Texas February 29, 1940 to Albert Earl and Pauline Hughes Brent. Edgar had lived most of his life in Alto and Maydelle, Texas. Edgar loved fishing and had worked in Logging, Saw Mill and Farming. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Cora Mae Curry and Anna Louise Brent. Edgar is survived by sisters Bobbie Brent Richardson and Paulette Brent Kizer and brother James Brent, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
