A graveside service for David Keith Birdwell, 81, of Houston, Texas will be Saturday May 3rd, 2025 at 2pm at McKnight Cemetery in Cushing. No visitation is scheduled.
David was born on October 8, 1943, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Curtis and Brady Laura King Birdwell.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his daughters, Tracie Dubose and her husband Randy DuBose, and Sonia Heinz and her husband Daniel Heinz; and his granddaughter, Jennifer DuBose, and her husband Michael Pontikos.
David was especially proud that both of his daughters became nurses, and his granddaughter graduated from Texas A&M and became a teacher.
He is buried next to his mother, father, and two sisters, Frankie Siebe and Janice Wall.
David worked and retired from Chevron Chemicals at the age of 57. He spent his retirement years fishing and traveling.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and husband. We miss him dearly.
