Byron Strong

Byron was a fun-loving and caring man. He was full of life, jokes, pranks
and loved by many. His first love was God, followed by family, trucking, and
tractors. He was born on June 30, 1943, and passed away on June 3,
2024, at home doing what he loved, working on a tractor. He is survived by
his children David Allen Strong, Wiley Strong, Malletta Stietenroth, and
Elizabeth Strong, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
He also is survived by his brother Horace (Maxine) Strong, and sisters Linda Sparks,
Dale (Gary) Auxier, and Barbara (Howard “Red” Russell), along with
numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was
preceded in death by his father, Horace Clifford Strong; mother, Mallie
Marie Matlock Strong; brothers, James Strong, and
David Allen Strong; sister, Kathleen Carpenter.

Byron is under the care of Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing, TX.  Services for Byron will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 2pm, at Old Prospect Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1pm-2pm at the church.  Brother Robert Vaughn will be Officiating the service for Byron.  Burial will follow the service at Old Prospect Cemetery in Mt. Enterprise.
