Funeral services for Zelma Joyce Pistole will be Saturday June 20th at 12pm at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow at Redland Cemetery. Zelma Joyce Pistole, 88, of Douglass, Texas died Tuesday June 16th in Garrison, Texas. She was born May 16th, 1932 in Bon Weir, Texas to Leonard and Ninnie Mae Stephenson Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Pistole, granddaughter April Hassell, son Jimmy Tatum, and brothers James Brown, Thomas Brown, and Don Brown,  great granddaughter Annabelle Medley and grandson Brandon Medley. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Gene and Pam Tatum of Douglass, Texas, Johnny and Donna Tatum of Douglass, Texas, Tommy and Dina Tatum of Nacogdoches, Texas, David and Iris Pistole of Cushing, Texas; daughters and son-in-law Sandy and Dwayne Ward of Sims, North Carolina, and Carol and Robert Anderson of Rusk, Texas; sister-in-law Alice Brown of Friendswood, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and other family.
