Glenn Rawlinson, 72, of Cushing, passed away on February 9, 2024 at his home.
Visitation will be Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10am with service to follow at 11am at Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing, TX.
Burial will follow at McKnight Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dickie Allen Funeral Services.
Glenn was born in Nacogdoches, TX to William H. and Ruby Rawlinson on February 19, 1951.
He went to school at Cushing ISD. He married Donna Chappell on December 5, 1997 in Nacogdoches. He worked for Exxon Natural Gas for 24 years before moving on to being a farmer, rancher, and hay bailer in the community.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents William H. and Ruby and his in-laws Lawrence and Joyce Chappell of Hudson, FL.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 26 years Donna, his sons Greg Rawlinson of Spring, TX, Cory Rawlinson and his wife Crystal of Weatherford, TX, son Dana and his wife Christine Gilbert of Bettendorf, IA, son Jay Gilbert of Davenport, IA, and his daughter Kari and her Husband Keith Walton of Tomball, TX. Sister Judy and her husband Jerald Brinkkoeter of College Station, TX, sister Jane Parker and her husband Kirby Bubenik of Orange, TX, and brother Gary and his wife Lori of Cushing, TX. Grandchildren Madelyn and Landon Rawlinson, Cody and Kayla Walton, Faith Gilbert, Brayton and Judah Gilbert, and a great-Granddauther Theia Walton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Walton, Kyle Rawlinson, Donald Button, Mark Hluchan, James Milo Hluchan, and Jared Perkins. Honorary pallbearers are Madelyn Rawlinson, Landon Rawlinson, Kayla Walton, Faith Gilbert, Brayton Gilbert, Judah Gilbert, and Theia Walton
