Funeral services for William Glenn Petty, 82, of Wells will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, January 3rd at the O.T. Allen & Son FH Chapel with Rev. Wes Matchett officiating. There will be a visitation time from 1 PM until service time on Tuesday. Glenn was born March 26, 1940 in Forest, Texas to William Walter Petty and Adell Bates Petty, and went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2022 at the age of 82. Mr. Petty lived all his life in the Forest and Wells area and was Baptist. He was a cattle rancher and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, son Steven Glenn Petty and brother Kenneth Morris Petty. He is survived by nephews Kenneth (Ken) Morris Petty Jr. and Randy AlanPetty, cousins Michael Petty, Richard Petty and Robert Petty as well as several other cousins. Pallbearers will be Zack Kornegay, Seth Kornegay, Chase Taylor, Cameron Taylor, Randy Petty, and Ken Petty
