Graveside services for William Carroll Hollis, 77, of Alto will be Monday December 24th at 11am at the Old Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the cemetery. Mr. Hollis died Saturday December 22nd in Tyler, Texas. He was born December 22nd, 1941 in Alto, Texas to Carl Bruce and Dorothy Louise Maddux Hollis. He is preceded in death by his parents, and Brother Jerry Wayne Hollis. Mr. Hollis attended Old Palestine Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Tim and Christie Hollis of Alto, Scotty and Laura Hollis of Alto; grandchildren Cole and Camden, sisters and brothers-in-law Charlotte and Sherrill Montgomery of Alto and Lynn Booker of Wyoming, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Kyle Hollis, Chris Knight, Shane Gholston, Jerad Carter, Hunter Nichols, and Billy Boozer.
