Funeral services for Wayne Caver, 92, of the Linn Flat Community will be Friday, January 3rd, at 10 am at Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing with Bro. Robert Easterling officiating. Interment will be at Linn Flat Cemetery  following the service. Mr. Caver passed away Tuesday, December 31st, in Nacogdoches. He was born March 13, 1927 to Johnny Jacob Caver and Jessie Nora McCormack Caver. He lived all his life in the Linn Flat Community and was in the Cattle business for many years. Wayne was a U.S. Navy veteran and had been a Baptist for many years, serving as a Deacon and a song leader. He was currently a member at the Mahl Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by wife Dorothy Baker Caver as well as 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Wayne is survived by son Steve Wallace of Cushing, daughter Betty Ivy and husband Tuff of Nacogdoches, grandchildren Collin Ivy and Christen Ivy and great grandchild Julian Ivy. There will be a visitation Thursday at the funeral home in Cushing from 6-8 pm. Pallbearers are Robert Whitehead, Bill Rogers, Leon Engle, Rex Neill, Michael Tarpley and Collin Ivy.
