Violet Rayne Peterson, born to Heather Woods and Brandon Peterson, passed away on May 27, 2023.

Service will be held at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Enterprise at 2:00pm with the visitation beginning at 1:00 pm and will be officiated by Brother Kyle Keeling. First Baptist Church will provide lunch across the street at 210 N. Railroad Ave. following the service.

Violet was born at Nacogdoches Medical Center on April 20, 2023. Violet came into this world with an unimaginable amount of care, comfort, and love showered over her.

Violet is survived by her mother Heather Woods, father Brandon Peterson, grandparents Carrie Elliott, Melonie Woods (Sean Massingill), Jon Peterson (Melanie Peterson), and Thomas Woods, great-grandmothers Renae Elliott and Tommy Griffith, and great-great grandfather Woodrow Smith, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Wedgeworth, Colby Falk, and Cody Miller.

Memorials may be given directly to Verabank to the Baby Violet Peterson Memorial Fund.

The family of Violet wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Scott and Marcia Nelson, Landmark and First Baptist Churches, surrounding Fire Departments, friends, and family.
