Funeral services for Vickie Lynn Wallace Barnes, 60, of Alto, will be Thursday, June 21st, at 1PM at the Cold Springs Methodist Church near Alto with Rev. John Black officiating. Burial will follow at the Alto City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Allen Funeral Home. Vickie passed away Saturday, June 16th, in Diboll. She was born February 16th, 1958 in Houston, Texas to George Robert "Bob" Wallace and Edna Ruth Morgan Wallace. She had lived in Alto for many years and had also lived in Austin, Kilgore, Cushing and Corpus Christi as well. Vickie was a member of the A. Frank Smith United Methodist Church in Alto and had worked as a florist as well as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by brother Robert Keith Wallace and nephew Travis Wallace. Vickie is survived by son Matthew Alex Barnes and wife Kelli of Lubbock, parents Bob and Edna Ruth Wallace of Alto, brother Richard Wayne "Ricky" Wallace of Alvin, sister Hollee Malei Braun and husband Andrew of Georgetown, half brothers Robbie and Derrick Kollatt, half sister Tiffany Kollatt, nephews Austin Wallace, Kaya Ignacio and Luke Braun and nieces Morgan Wallace and Hannah Ignacio. Donation's may be made in Vickie's memory to The Lonestar Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation, also in memory of her late brother Keith.
