A memorial service for Verlene Brandon, 100, of Garrison will be Saturday January 16th at 11am at the Covenant Church of East Texas. No visitation is scheduled. Mrs. Brandon passed away Wednesday January 13th, in Garrison, Texas. She was born April 8th, 1920 in Nacogdoches, Texas to L.E. and Nora Beavers Byrd. She is preceded in death by her husband Homer Brandon, and sons Homer Lee and Billy Jack. She is survived by her daughters Margaret Rambin, Betty Allen, and Laurel Boles; son Kenneth L. Brandon; 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, as well as 6 great great grandchildren.
