Cushing- Funeral services for Vera Caver Ivy Self, 84, of Cushing will be Tuesday February 21st at 2pm at the Dickie Allen funeral home chapel with Bro. Ennis Fuller and Pastor Stefani Jackson officiating. There will be a visitation from 5-7pm Monday night at the funeral home. Mrs. Self died Saturday in Nacogdoches. She was born May 10th 1932 in Linn Flatt, Texas to Murph and Claudia Jackson Caver. She was a lifetime resident of Cushing, Texas. She was a member of the McKnight Church for 59 years and a former member of the 42 Club. She is preceded in death by her Parents, 1st Husband Joe Frank Ivy, 2nd Husband John Self, and Son Eddie Ivy. She is survived by Sons Jay Self of Cushing, Texas; Danny Ivy of Cushing, Texas; Sisters Vivian Williams of Cushing, Texas; Evelyn Joe Neill of Cushing, Texas; Janet Caver of Cushing, Texas; 6 Grandchildren; and Loving companion of 10 years, her Shih Tzu Murphy.
