A private family memorial will be held later for Tommie L. Lister, 85, of Alto. Tommie passed away Monday, June 5, at her home in Alto. She was born September 22, 1937 in Cisco, Texas to M C Boyett and Virgie Mae Day Boyett. Tommie lived in Alto for the last 37 years and had also lived in Houston for many years. She was a Christian and had worked for over 20 years for Alto ISD in the cafeteria. She loved flowers and her pets. Tommie was preceded in death by 2 husbands, sons Billy McFerrin and John Henry McFerrin, daughter Theresa Copeland and several siblings. She is survived by grandchildren Jonathan McFerrin, Shaun McFerrin, Stacy Gallagher, Misty Bradley and Malissa Copeland and several brothers and sisters.
