Tessa Jo Retherford was born April 17 2025 in Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Tessa Jo was the happiest and strongest little girl who loved her family. She loved outside and nature's beauty. Words can't describe how much we loved our baby and wanted to keep her here, but God had other plans. Our angel will always be loved and never be forgotten. We love you Tessa Jo, our angel.

Tessa is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Leon and Josephine McKnight, TR Retherford, and Wendell Vaught.

She is survived by her parents, Brandon and Kassie Retherford; brothers Kayden and Trace Retherford; grandparents, Kerry and Sherry Vaught; aunt, Ayla Vaught; Uncle's Slayton Vaught and Alex Blue; great-grandmothers, Glenda Retherford and Sarah Vaught.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, May 17th, at Linn-Flat Cemetery, in Trawick, with Pastor Joebob Jennings Officiating.  Arrangements are under the care of Dickie Allen Funeral Home, Cushing, Texas.
