Alto - Funeral services for Teal Hamilton, 82, of Alto will be Thursday July 14th at 1pm at the St. Thomas Chapel Church near Alto. Mr. Hamilton died Saturday in Alto. He was born February 26th, 1933 in Alto to Coneal and Essie Watson Hamilton. He lived in Houston for 20 years before returning to Alto. He loved fishing and The Dallas Cowboys. He served in the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his Wife Jackie Hamilton, Father Coneal Hamilton, Daughter Mary Jo Woodard, Sisters Jessie Mae Zachary, Arma Lee Thacker, Alzata Glenn, Roxie Ann Richards. He is survived by his Mother Essie Hamilton, Sisters Goldie Mae Hamilton of Alto, TX; Lonnie Ann Ross of Alto, TX; Bertha Pope of Alto, TX; Alberta Pope of Alto, TX; Helen Dickerson of Alto, TX; Verdie Moore of Nacogdoches, TX; Kathleen Booker of Alto, TX; Three children Earnestine Blakemore of Alto ,TX; Sharline Collins of Ft. Worth, TX; and Nell Hamilton of Lewisville, TX; 14 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled Wednesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home in Alto.
