Wayne Hardy, 80, of Cushing will be Wednesday, April 27th at 11 A.M. at the Cushing City Cemetery with Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Mr. Hardy died Sunday in Nacogdoches. He was born September 13, 1935 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Marcus Talmadge Hardy and Juanita Elizabeth Boley Hardy. Mr. Hardy lived in Cushing for most of his life and had also lived in Lubbock. He was Baptist. Mr. Hardy had worked as a real estate broker and a salesman for Ralston-Purina. He loved rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and being involved with his granddaughters and their activities. He was preceded in death by wife Helen Carrolle Stone Hardy. He is survived by daughter Valori Hardy Poskey (Dennis) of Cushing, son Tim Hardy (Diann) of Cushing, brothers Tom Hardy (June) of Orange, Ken Hardy (Irene) of Tacoma Washington, John Hardy (Linda) of Nacogdoches, sisters Sandra Whittington of Corrigan,Debbie Barr of Nacogdoches, 4 granddaughters that he adored, Tifani Carrolle Shuttlesworth (Brian), Emily Poskey Ballard, Hillary Danielle Williams (Anthony) and Elizabeth Lauren Jordan (Travis) as well as great grandchildren Gracie, Hudson, Lillian, Hadley and T.J. and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday the 26th from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Cushing. Memorials may be made to the Cushing Endowment Fund in memory of T. Wayne Hardy.
