Funeral services for Sharon Ann Dawson, 68, of Nacogdoches will be Thursday, January 31, at 10:000 AM at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing. Sharon went to be with the Lord Tuesday January 29th, 2019. She was born January 17th, 1951 in Port Arthur, Texas to Vertis and Sybil Wall. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Deby Fitzgerald and Pam Morgan. Sharon leaves behind her husband of 42 years David Dawson of Nacogdoches; son Jamie Dawson of Cushing, son Charles Dawson of Lufkin; sister Carolyn McDaniel of Nacogdoches; grandchildren Zoe Dawson, Asa Dawson, Eli Dawson, Boe Coleman, Jed Coleman, and Carlie Dawson. Sharon's favorite past time was watching her grandchildren play sports and attending their school functions. Pallbearers will be Shaun Fitzgerald, Tyson McDaniel, N.D. Williams, Jed McDaniel, Tanner Fitzgerald, and Jason Coleman. Honorary pallbearer is Kooper Dawson.
