Funeral services for Sarah Nell Dover, 80, of Lufkin and formerly of Alto, will be Monday, July 30th, at 10 AM at the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Chapel in Alto with Bro. Steve Killam officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 PM at the Allen Funeral Home. Sarah passed away Thursday, July 26th, in Lufkin. She was born February 19, 1938 in Alto, Texas to Howard Mason and Otha Lee Norton Mason. Mrs. Dover was an excellent housewife and mother who loved antiques and antique shopping. She was a member of the St. Paul's Methodist Church in Lufkin where she was active and served in many position's through the years. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, sister's Marie Mason and Mary Doris Bobbitt and brothers Herman Mason and Joel Vasco Mason. She is survived by husband Earl Dover of Lufkin, daughter Rhonda L. Carroll (Donald) of Lufkin, brother James Mason of Alto, sister Mildred Landrum of Lufkin, grandsons Jason Carroll (Chinwe) and Chris Carroll (Natalie) and great grandchildren Caleb Carroll, Joshua Carroll, Samantha Carroll, Hannah Carroll, Weston Carroll & Cayden Carroll. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Steve Dover, Greg Dover, Larry Dover, Jason Carroll, Chris Carroll & Jamie May.
