Sara Jean Holcomb Williams

Alto – Graveside services for Sara Jean Holcomb Williams, 84, of Alto will be Thursday June 15th at 10 AM at the Lynches Chapel Cemetery near Alto with Rev. Josh Lindsey officiating.

Sara was born November 2nd, 1932 in Alto to Aubrey Holcomb and Ola Schochler Holcomb. She had lived in Alto for many years and was a homemaker. Mrs Williams was a member of the A. Frank Smith Methodist Church in Alto and was also a member of the Alto Eastern Star chapter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnny McClendon Jr. and son-in-law Wayne Bundrick. She is survived by daughter Diana Bundrick of Grapeland, sons Steve McClendon (Pam) of Alto and Jason McClendon of Alto, sisters Eloise Williams and JoAnn Carpenter, grandchildren Angelique Wilson, John McClendon (Cassidy), Chris Haynes, Josh Bates, Christopher McClendon, Sara McClendon, Alia McClendon & Harmony McClendon, great grandchildren John Landon McClendon, James Leo McClendon, Bela Rose McClendon & Gracie Bates, as well as great great grandchild Zoe Little.
