Sandra Jean Wade Alto - Funeral services for Sandra Jean Wade, 65, of Alto and formerly of Houston will be Saturday April 8th at 1 pm at the St. Thomas A.M.E. Church in Alto with Rev. Franklin Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Thomas Chapel Cemetery. Sandra passed away Tuesday, April 4th in Rusk. She was born January 2nd, 1952 to R.H. Morrison and Ola Mae Singletary Morrison. She had lived much of her life in Houston and recently moved back to Alto. She had worked at Texas Instruments, the U.S. Postal Service and later operated her own Domestic Cleaning Service. She had joined the St. Thomas Chapel A.M.E. church at a young age and graduated from Alto High School. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and by brother, Terry Morrison. She is survived by daughter Caschandra "Nene" Wade of Alto, son Earsley Wade (Isabella) of Alto, sisters Earnestine Blakemore (Lester) of Alto, Vanessa Morrison of Jacksonville, Kendra Williams (Jeff) of Dallas, brothers Michael Morrison (Susan) of Alto, Ronnie Morrison (Pearlie) of Rusk, Kenny Morrison (Damaris) of Minnesota and Tony Morrison (Eva) of Washington, step brother Willie J. Brown (Mildred) of Alto, brother-in-law Arthur Brooks of Alto, 3 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 step greatgrandchildren. The family will receive visitors Friday at the funeral home in Alto from 6-8 pm.
