A funeral service for Ruth Haney will be Monday, November 13, at 11 Am in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bruce Robinson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Alto.

Ruth Helen Haney, 89, of Rusk passed away Wednesday November 8th, 2023 in Tyler, Texas. She was born December 28th, 1933 in Alto, Texas to Walter and Maybelle Huggins Knott. She loved all of her grandkids and great grandkids and great great grandkids. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Alto. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Orland Haney, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Charlie and Cindy Haney of Rusk; daughters and sons-in-law Orlene and Jim Crosby of Alto, Brenda and David Farias of Alto, and Cindy and Bill Lampe of Alto; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Jan Knott of Alto; sisters Sarah Hodges of Wells, Joann Hodges of Wells, and Lizzy Dunn of Rusk; grandchildren Johnnie, Jeremy, Norman, Cameron, Timothy, Ricky, Helen, David, Charles, Kristi, and Bryan; as well as 21 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren with one on the way.
