Funeral services for Rose Peacock will be Tuesday June 21st at 2pm at the Missionary Baptist Church in Alto officiated by Bro. Bruce Robinson. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services also at the church. Interment will follow at Lynches Chapel Cemetery in Alto.

Rose Ann Peacock, 78, of Alto, Texas passed away June 17th, 2022 in Tyler, Texas. She was born February 11th, 1944 in Nacogdoches, Tx to Carrie Lee and James Marjorie Holcomb McGaughey. Rose lived most of her life in Alto. She attended business school in Nacogdoches and was married to Elvin Peacock for over 50 years. She was a member of the Lynches Chapel Church and was retired from the Rusk State Hospital after working there for 20 years. At which time she enjoyed taking care of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elvin, son Roland, and great grandson Asher. She is survived by her son Scotty; and sisters Frances Henley and husband Don, Virginia Rogers and husband Homer, and Marsha Gregston; daughter-in-law Renee Peacock; grandchildren Austin Peacock, Addison Peacock, and Porter Peacock; great grandchildren Kaiser and Cutler.
