Robert Pitman Jr., 86 of Cushing, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Westward Trails Nursing Home in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Services for Robert will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing, Texas at 11:00 AM, with Brother Michael Self officiating.  Visitation will be held 1hour prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow the service at the McNight Cemetery, Cushing, Texas.

Robert was born to Robert Pitman Sr. and Linnie Pitman (Fuller) on May 8, 1937, in Cushing, Texas.  Robert attended High School in Cushing, Texas.

Robert married his wife of 55 years, Marvis McKnight on May 29, 1968.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Russell and Ronnie Pitman, and numerous siblings.

Robert is survived by his wife Marvis Pitman (McKnight), Daughter, Jennifer Allen and husband Bryan and Grandchildren, Thomas Allen, Evan Ray Pitman, Landon Pitman, Desiree Pitman and Jessie Pitman and Great Grandchild, Evan Lee Pitman and numerous other family and friends.
